Gemma Pagliei supports the READ Program

Haverford Township Free Library "READ" Poster:

Gemma posed for this "READ" poster at the Haverford Township Free Library's 2011 Business Breakfast in October. The poster was part of the library's "READ" campaign, and one of a series created to encourage reading. The library asked attendees to bring a favorite book to pose with or use one of theirs.

The book Gemma is holding was her choice: The Anatomy of Movement by Blandine Calais-Germain. It is a book on anatomy and movement, which focuses on anatomy not for its own sake, but its functional relationship to the actual movements of the body in physical disciplines. It is meaningful to Gemma because it helped inspire her to open her own movement teaching practice: Gemma's Pilates and Movement Training in 2004.

The poster was hung in the library's gallery and also included in their "Electronic Gallery," online on their Facebook page. You can view the Electronic Gallery by following this link: Facebook Page.
